The Memphis Conference United Methodist Women will hold the 38^th Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at Dresden First United Methodist Church located at 105 South Church Street, Dresden, Tennessee 38225-0108. Registration will begin at 8:45 am, and the assembly will begin at 9:30 am.

This year’s theme is “Let’s Get Together”. We are going to celebrate what we, as a conference, have been doing in mission this year.  We are going to have worship, music, reports, devotion, motivation and fellowship.  We will elect officers for the coming year and celebrate the contributions of outgoing officers.  “The Book Nook” will be open for business with many UMW materials and selections from the Reading Program.  We will conclude the morning session with Communion.  Lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall of Dresden First.    .

District Officers are encouraged to attend the Officer’s Training session immediately following lunch.   There will also be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Sudan. Beth Brown and Michael Blake will be making a presentation on their recent Mission trip to Sudan. This

session will be open to all those not attending an officers training session.  Remember that “The Beauty of Sudan” is one of our Mission Studies for 2010.   This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about Sudan from people that have been there.   

Make your plans to be at Dresden First on September 25, 2010.  Cost is $15.00 for registration and lunch.  Commuters fee  (Registration –no meal) is $2.00.
