Dorothy Bush - Nominations Dorothy is a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Fulton First United Methodist Church. She has served on various committees of the church and the Church Council.. She is a member of the Chancel Choir and the Lay Persons Visitation Program. She is also active in her local UMW Unit serving as Circle Chairperson, previous Vice President and President. In the Dyersburg District UMW, she was Mission Coordinator for Education and Interpretation, Vice President, President, and is currently the Parliamentarian. Dorothy has also been active in her community as a Literacy Tutor, volunteer and member of the board for Twin Cities Care Mission for Fulton and South Fulton.

Gracie Collins - Nominations 2011-2014 Gracie Harris Collins joined Friendship United Methodist Church in 1995. Prior to uniting with Friendship UMC, she was a member of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church for 28 years. Her Christian experience has included teaching Sunday School, singing praises in the choir, greeting as an usher, coordinator of Vacation Bible School, Sunday School Secretary, Outreach Chairperson and Communion Steward. Since becoming a United Methodist Woman she has been President and Vice President. On the district level, she has served as Nominating Committee and as District Historian. She is an active participant in weekly Bible Study and Sunday School. Her favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 121. |

Meredith Bingham– Secretary 2011-2012 Meredith attends Wesleyan Hills United Methodist Church in Memphis, Tennessee and has been a member there since 2000. Her first committee assignment at Wesleyan Hills was to chair the Nurture and Evangelism Committee and she now serves as Chair of the Church Council and Board. Being Chair of Church Council and Board also means she serves on the Finance and Stewardship Committee, Board of Trustees, Nominations Committee, Worship Committee and Staff Pastor Parish Relations Committee, and Children’s Ministry Team. Our Children’s Ministry is the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and she is in Level I training for this ministry and oversees Level I Atrium on Sunday mornings. She currently serves as President of the United Methodist Women of Wesleyan Hills. She was Vice President of the McKendree District UMW and a member of the Program Committee for the Conference. Meredith serves on the Board of Trustee for Hannah’s Hope and Recording Secretary for the Methodist Hospital Auxiliary. She has been employed at Buckeye Technologies Inc. in Memphis for a little over 40 years in various Administrative positions. Meredith has been divorced for many years and even though God’s plan was for her to have no children, He blessed her with a wonderful niece and nephew who considers her their “second” Mom, and now have a great-niece and great-nephew. God also has blessed her with the members of Wesleyan Hills who she proudly calls my friends and family. Being involved in UMW has also blessed Meredith with the opportunity to meet and learn from the most incredible women. |
